Get Your Property Winter Ready
Winter insulation for homes, shops and barns across Middle Tennessee. Pole barns, spray foam, crawl space encapsulation and attic top-offs. 10% off for military and first responders.
Cold weather does not create insulation problems. It exposes the ones that were there all along. The floors that were merely cool in October are cold in January, the barn starts dripping on the tractor, and the upstairs that nobody could heat last winter still cannot be heated this one.
Volunteer FoamPros insulates homes, shops and barns across Middle Tennessee, the Kentucky border towns and North Alabama. Winter is our busiest season and the work books out, so the useful time to call is before the first hard freeze. Call (615) 492-9376 or request an estimate.
10% Off for Military Members and First Responders
Active duty, veterans, firefighters, police and EMS get 10% off their insulation work with us. It applies to every service on this page.
Fort Campbell is part of the territory we serve, and a good share of our customers across the Tennessee and Kentucky border towns are serving or have served. Tell us at the estimate and we apply it to the written quote, not as a discount you have to chase afterwards.
Pole Barn Insulation
Keeps the cold out, lowers energy costs, and turns a storage shell into a space you can actually work in.
Closed-cell foam bonded to the steel also stops the barn sweating on your equipment, which is the complaint we hear most from December onward. Full detail on pole barn insulation, including barndominiums and metal shops.
Spray Foam Insulation
A superior air seal and the highest energy efficiency of anything we install. It keeps the space warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Because it seals as it insulates, it also blocks the moisture, dust and allergens that ride in on moving air. Full detail on residential spray foam and commercial spray foam.
Crawl Space Encapsulation
Stops moisture at the source rather than treating what it causes. It prevents mould and mildew and improves indoor air quality.
It also makes the floor above it a floor you can stand on in socks in January. Full detail on crawl space encapsulation and crawl space insulation.
Attic Top-Offs
The cheapest winter job on this list. Where an attic is simply short of depth, we add insulating power over what is already there.
Less heat loss, lower bills, a warmer and more comfortable house, and it is usually a single visit. Full detail on blown-in insulation.
What Changes After
- Warmer spaces. Rooms hold their temperature between heating cycles instead of bleeding it back out.
- Lower energy bills. Most of what a building loses is air moving through gaps, not heat conducted through insulation. Sealing that path is what moves the bill.
- Cleaner, healthier air. An air seal is also a filter on everything that was riding in through the gaps.
- Protected investment. Dry framing, dry stored equipment, and no condensation dripping onto whatever is parked underneath.
Homes, Barns, Shops and Everything Between
We work on houses, pole barns, shops, crawl spaces, attics, new builds and renovations. The building type changes the method, not whether we cover it.
New construction and gut renovations are the cheapest time to insulate properly, because every cavity is open and nothing has to be removed first. If you have a build going up over the winter, the window to do it the easy way is while the framing is still exposed. Our full service list covers all six insulation types we install.
Why Book This Before January
Winter is when insulation complaints surface and winter is when our calendar fills, in that order. The jobs booked in November get done in November.
There is also a practical reason beyond scheduling. Foam needs the surface it bonds to within a workable temperature range, and on a cold steel panel or an unheated crawl space that occasionally means warming the space first or working the warmer part of the day. That is manageable, and we plan for it, but it is one more reason that the earlier half of the season runs more smoothly than the back half.
